In May 2026, I authored a white paper examining the effectiveness of bottle-drip irrigation systems, mulching techniques, and moisture-retention practices as solutions to water stress and irregular irrigation in agricultural areas surrounding Mumbai. Drawing on secondary research, field observations, and expert consultations, this paper analyses how low-cost, decentralized irrigation methods can reduce water wastage while maintaining crop health under changing climatic conditions! It is meant to serve as an easy-to-comprehend an recommendation resource for the farming community, policy-makers, researchers within the field and any interested youth too. 

Building on the research findings and expert inputs, in June 2026, I designed an accessible, farmer-friendly toolkit (in both English and Hindi) - explaining simple irrigation and soil moisture management techniques. 

The toolkit used visual guides and regional-language explanations to demonstrate how bottle-drip systems, organic mulching, and basic soil practices could be implemented using locally available materials. 

These toolkits were distributed to farmers participating in the project’s workshops.
